What does this sign mean?
A warning sign telling the driver that a crossroads lies ahead where routes cross from both left and right, so speed should be reduced and traffic on either side watched for. The pictogram shows two roads meeting at a right angle.
Where does it go and when is it required?
Used ahead of aisle intersections in large car parks, residential compounds, industrial areas and warehouse yards, and on haul routes at construction sites and temporary road works. This version is intended for private and internal roads; signs on public roads must be installed by the municipality or the competent roads authority.

- Mount it on a post with the bottom edge 2.0–2.5 m above the road surface, far enough ahead of the junction.
