What does this sign mean?
A warning sign telling the driver that a marked pedestrian crossing lies ahead, so speed should be reduced and the driver should be ready to stop and let people cross. The pictogram shows a pedestrian walking over crossing stripes.
Where does it go and when is it required?
Used ahead of pedestrian crossings inside car parks, malls, residential compounds, hospitals and schools, and on haul routes at construction sites and temporary road works. This version is intended for private and internal roads; signs on public roads must be installed by the municipality or the competent roads authority.

- Mount it on a post with the bottom edge 2.0–2.5 m above the road surface, or 1.5–1.7 m inside covered car parks.
