What does this sign mean?
A warning sign telling the driver that pedestrians may be on or beside the road ahead, so speed should drop and a wide clearance should be left. It is used where there is no footpath or dedicated walkway.
Where does it go and when is it required?
Used on internal roads without footpaths in residential compounds, construction sites and warehouse yards, and in car park areas where customers walk between vehicles. This version is intended for private and internal roads; signs on public roads must be installed by the municipality or the competent roads authority.

- Mount it on a post with the bottom edge 2.0–2.5 m above the road surface, or 1.5–1.7 m inside covered car parks.
