What does this sign mean?
A direction sign pointing left to the masjid. It is for prayer spaces the visitor cannot see from the street: musallas in malls and markets, hospital and campus masajid, and prayer rooms at motorway service areas.
Where does it go and when is it required?
At the entrance to the complex or car park, at every fork on the route, and at lifts and stairs in a multi-storey building. Any point where a visitor could hesitate needs a sign.
- Use the copy that matches the walking direction — this one is for a masjid on the left. A wrong arrow is worse than no sign.
- A3 or larger for car parks and long corridors; A4 is enough inside a short one.
- In malls, airports and hospitals, check with the building management first — each has its own signage manual and approved positions.
