Where is it used and when is it required?
Posted at the main entrance and in a prominent spot inside the prayer hall near the door, plus in the women’s hall and the wudu area where people wait. It is the first thing a traveller or new visitor looks for, and it spares the imam and the mu’adhin from answering the same question dozens of times a day.
- Mount in an A4 frame or acrylic holder at 1.5–1.7 m so the sheet is easy to swap when times change.
- A3 at the main entrance so it reads from a distance; A4 inside the halls and by the wudu area.
- In the West, use 12-hour times with AM/PM and list Jumu’ah with the khutbah time; a fixed iqamah time matters more to the community than the adhan time.
