open closed sign
A door sign that tells customers, before they push the door, whether you are taking customers right now. One face says Open, the other Closed, so you flip it at the start and end of the day, at Friday prayer or during a break.
Where is it used and when is it required?
Hung on the inside of the door glass or on the handle in shops, cafés, restaurants, pharmacies and salons, where customers arrive at the door and want an instant answer without knocking or waiting. It is designed as a two-sided hanger: a two-page PDF with page 2 rotated 180° for back-to-back printing, plus a guide mark for the hanging hole.
- Print the two pages double-sided (or stick them back to back), punch the hole at the mark and hang it on the handle with string or a suction hook at 1.3–1.5 m.
- A5 fits small shop and salon doors; use A4 on the glass fronts of restaurants and cafés.
- Keep Arabic above English and add your opening hours or WhatsApp number in the business-name band so customers know when to come back.
Size guide
Choose the size from the maximum distance the sign must be read from (ISO 3864-1 guidance).
Print tip: use card stock or mount on foam board/acrylic, and print the PDF at 100% (not “fit to page”).
