please wait sign
A sign asking customers to stop at this point until a host arrives, the cashier is free or their table is ready, so they do not walk further in or cut in front of someone else.
Where is it used and when is it required?
Placed at the entrance of restaurants that seat guests, at the reception desk in salons, clinics and service offices, and on the privacy line in front of the counter in pharmacies, banks and telecom branches. It keeps arrivals orderly at peak times and protects the privacy of the customer being served ahead of you.
- Mount on a floor stand or table holder at 1.0–1.2 m right at the stopping point, or add a floor sticker on the line.
- A5 suits a table holder; use A4 on a floor stand at a restaurant entrance.
- Keep Arabic above English, and add a line such as 'We will be with you in a moment' in the business-name band to soften the wait.
