order here sign
A sign that points customers to where ordering and payment begin, so they know where to stand as soon as they walk in rather than hovering between the counter and the tables or waiting for a server who is not coming.
Where is it used and when is it required?
Mounted above the ordering counter or point of sale in cafés, quick-service restaurants, sweet shops, bakeries and juice bars, and at the head of the queue in self-service outlets. It pairs with an Order Pickup sign at the other end of the counter so customers move in one direction.
- Hang it from the ceiling or fix it to the wall behind the counter at 1.8–2.0 m so it is visible from the door.
- A4 is enough for small cafés; use A3 in large restaurants and mall units.
- Keep Arabic above English, and add an arrow or counter number in the business-name band if you have more than one ordering point.
Size guide
Choose the size from the maximum distance the sign must be read from (ISO 3864-1 guidance).
Print tip: use card stock or mount on foam board/acrylic, and print the PDF at 100% (not “fit to page”).
