QR donation sign
A sign inviting worshippers to donate to the masjid by scanning a QR code with their phone instead of hunting for cash for the donation box. Paste your donation page link (LaunchGood, PayPal Giving Fund, your bank’s payment link or any platform you already use) into the editor and the code is generated instantly inside your browser; neither the link nor your logo is uploaded anywhere, and everything you print stays on your device.
Where is it used and when is it required?
Mounted at the exits and by the shoe racks where people pause after prayer, next to the Prayer Times board, in the corridor to the women’s hall, and beside the old donation boxes as a digital alternative. In Saudi Arabia make sure the link belongs to a body licensed to collect donations, such as the Ehsan platform or a registered association.
- Mount at 1.2–1.5 m, slightly below eye level, so a phone camera can be pointed at the code comfortably.
- A4 is enough in most spots; do not go smaller than A5 or the code becomes hard to scan from a metre away.
- For masajid in the West, name the platform under the code and add your registered charity number so donors know the link is legitimate.
