Where is it used and when is it required?
Stuck on the door glass and at the till in shops, cafés, restaurants, pharmacies and market stalls that have recently moved to electronic payment. It matters most in traditional souqs and small shops where customers assume cash, and it fits the push by the Ministry of Commerce and Gulf central banks to make electronic payment available at every point of sale.
- Stick it to the inside of the door glass at 1.4–1.6 m so it reads from outside, and add a small copy next to the terminal.
- A5 suits the door and the till; use A4 for large shopfronts.
- Keep Arabic above English, and use the business-name band for any minimum card amount instead of a handwritten note.
