sale sign
A promotional sign that announces your discount in numbers big enough to read from the pavement. Type the percentage in the editor (50, 30, 70…) and it appears in both the Arabic and the English line, so you do not need a designer every sale season.
Where is it used and when is it required?
Stuck on the shop window and at the entrance, and above discounted shelves and tables in clothing, shoe, perfume and electronics stores and hypermarkets, during official sale seasons, end-of-season clearances and White Friday. Keep the percentage identical to what is charged at the till so it never turns into a complaint at the Ministry of Commerce.
- Stick it to the inside of the glass with clear tape, or hang it from the ceiling above the sale table at 1.6–1.8 m.
- A4 is enough for shelves and tables; use A3 on the window so it reads from the street.
- Keep Arabic above English, and put the end date of the sale in the business-name band if there is one.
Size guide
Choose the size from the maximum distance the sign must be read from (ISO 3864-1 guidance).
Print tip: use card stock or mount on foam board/acrylic, and print the PDF at 100% (not “fit to page”).
