What does this sign mean?
A Stop sign requires the driver to come to a complete halt at the stop line before the junction or entrance, and to move off only once the way is clear. The red octagon is reserved for this message alone and is never used for any other instruction.
Where does it go and when is it required?
Used at car park exits, the entrances of residential compounds and malls, school gates, construction sites, and wherever an internal aisle meets a main circulation route.
